We had the wonderful opportunity to serve over twenty members of the local missionary and e-pat community a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner recently. It was such a blessing for everyone that was involved. Our staff had matching uniforms, and did a wonderful job serving the four-course meal which Jen and Mary created. Jen brought special items back from the US to make things extra-special. She was sick on the day of the meal though, and didn’t even get to taste it. =(

It was a really special event. We had linen tablecloths, candles on the tables and so much food, everyone was stuffed. The reviews were terrific, and everyone asked if we’d do it again. I think four-course meals might just become a regular (monthly?) thing if we can sustain it.

I was especially proud of Mary for accommodating two gluten-allergic guests. This is so hard to do, since we can’t get the right flour easily.

Here’s some photos from the event and the PDF of the menu is here.

Pumpkin. Pie. A real treat, but nothing compared to the customer's PECAN PIE!
