@Johnny – congrats! The streams were great to watch and i’m glad Shmoo gathered some support $$ for your mission :)
@Raptista: find somewhere else to be; clearly the gov there is interested in advancing people’s quality of life … the knowledge of better ways to grow crops, of addressing health concerns and more clean water, better economic models, and construction methods can be provided by simple searches on the net. A teeny bit of tech-know-how can boost a Ungandan into a small business which nets more $$ than they might possibly see otherwise … you feel more comfortable keeping the rest of the world in the dark? Nobel Prize material there, bub =/ Or would you rather wait for huge corps to bring “help” and “knowledge” all wrapped up in their profit-motives which may or may not be good for people in general.
Anyway, Johnny – keep up the good work!!

@jbrown: i’m just watching the light that you made/make to civilisation around the world ! let people lives their lives..and go live urs ! nobody came from Japan/China/Russia…and tells you how to live…the same case here…and for $$ u just need to send them …but don’t come and bring ur shit with u ! coz all what u are doing is disturbing !…or don’t come ’s better…
for the darkness …the sun is Uganda = *100 in USA …
i don’t know ..i’m not good in english…but what i want to say is this: wherever USA go, there is problems…!
try to find solutions to ppl inside USA first, and they you can bring your ass here…
and this is the bottom line.

@raptista: Your opinion, albeit a confusing one, is noted. As for the rest of us, we will continue to offer a hand to those in need and share the wealth and skills we have been blessed with.
