It seems that things went well in transit. I was reading your excitement about ideas and plans for work to be done while you're there. I've been harboring a thought, and it seems to fit into your vision. My son took a "Software Applications" course in HCPSS high school, and it culminated in writing a Java app to control a little robot to "shoot" baskets (moving a ball from one place into a hoop). So, the curriculum exists, it ties into some hands on stuff (critical component, if you ask me) and I think it would capture the students' interest!
