I am glad to see that other people face these difficulties when dealing with charity. It is almost more heartbreaking to have to rationalize your own actions regarding the decisions of helping and how. I hope your story, and your mission, are an empowerment, and a lesson for all who are able to give, whatever it is that they can.

I also applaud your decision. Christ would never have turned away someone in need because too many more people might come wanting.

But more importantly God put you in that position with the ability and desire to help the man. You can’t shy away from that for fear that He’ll put you in the same place tomorrow without the ability to serve the need.

Johnny – I would have don ethe same thing. But I understand that you only have so many shirts off you back to give. It is hard to want to help everyone and still be able to take care of your self. The wheel always comes full circle.

It made me smile to read this. It brought to my mind two pieces of scripture
