It’s been a pleasure helping out the Northwest Arkansas Fab Lab as they get themselves set up. One of the struggles with a new makerspace / hackerspace / FabLab is figuring out what gear works best for your needs and your budget. Thanks to our donors, we’ve been able to help guide them and help them gain experience through some equipment loans as they get started. This gear spent time in Uganda, serving students there, and now has new life here in Northwest Arkansas. This gear, and the donations that made them possible are very well-traveled.
Here are some pics from the Fab Lab as they use our Ultimaker 2 3D printer, X-Carve and Edison robots to test the waters. So far, they’re loving both products and growing in leaps and bounds! So glad to be able to help them grow!
