www.AOET.org hadn’t been updated in a very, very long time. So after talking with them, I realized that what they really needed was a front-page blog. Nothing fancy, just a blog that allowed image uploads and user-authenticated updates. Oh, and it couldn’t use a database, because it was transitional and the current web host made database access… difficult. So I posted a call for a programmer and a code reviewer/app tester. Two hours and multiple volunteer responses later, I was directed Simple PHP Blog, a program that filled most of our requirements. I stood up the blog, tossed together a logo and was so happy with the results that I marked the build phase as complete, and passed the blog over for code review and application assessment. That is some kind of record, I think.
